The big day is drawing near please take the time to read this entire letter as all information contained within is vital.

Just a couple of notes to clarify for all. 1. Beads can not be thrown or handed out to the crowd before bay to bay. 2. Couples memberships only receive one case of beads. 3. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down toilet. 4. Be sure you are back to float by start of parade, all krewes must walk or ride with their krewe only, do not lag back and walk with other floats, this is a violation of YMKG policies. 5. Do not store beads on the tow vehicle, this is not only dangerous but also against the drivers wishes.

The Day parade is Saturday January 28 2023 and we are float number 49. You must be at float no later than 1:00 PM, parade begins promptly at 2:00 PM. If you plan to attend please visit the web site and sign up. http://www.royal-privateers.com/category_s/43.htm Each paid member will have one case of beads on the float, (couples memberships shall split one case). If you want additional beads you can purchase them when you register for the parade. If you do not register, you will not have beads at the parade. The deadline is Thursday, January 26, 2023 to sign up if you want beads on the float. No krewe is allowed to throw or hand beads until Bay to Bay. Krewes violating this policy will not be invited back next year. The krewe has 48 inch 16mm royal blue beads, Krewe stick pins, extra cases throw beads and Krewe beads for purchase. If you want to buy these, we will have them on the float for you with your name on them.

When you register for the parade, you must now add the Ye Mystic liability waiver to your cart and type your full name. Everyone including guests must sign this waiver as well as the krewe waiver on their own account. If we do not see this on your registration you will not be able to participate, their will be no beads on the float for you and you will not receive a wrist band.

Guests ARE allowed at this event if they pay the $200.00 guest fee. ALL MEMBERS AND GUESTS MUST BE DRESSED IN THE OFFICIAL KREWE COSTUME. Please be sure your guest logs on to the web site, creates an account, signs both liability waivers and pays the fee. No money will be collected at parade site. All members must wear a wrist band. We will be giving out the wrist bands to all paid members and guests at Pokeys and at staging area. DO NOT BRING A GUEST THAT HAS NOT PAID OR SIGNED BOTH LIABILITY WAIVERS, AS THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE AND WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
