The Royal Krewe of Privateer's founding members incorporated the krewe in 2001. Our members are made up of business and professional men and women of the Tampa Bay area and are active in the community. The Krewe gives back to the community in many ways.
We currently participate in 3 parades, Gasparilla Day Parade, Sant' Yago Knight Parade, St Patrick's Parade. Your membership includes: beer, mixers, food (if applicable) and water.
We are very proud of the fact that we have owned our float since 2001, which was rebuilt in 2015. It is constructed of all metal, is two story with a spiral stair case, complete with a full bathroom, running water, central air and heat, a bar and storage lockers. We illuminate the float with multi color LED flashing lights and is complimented with laser lighting. It is quite large and can hold up to 65 people.
